According to Venetian tradition, anyone can become the Doge—regardless of rank, class, or past crimes—if they secure the support of the Council of Ten during the annual masquerade.

Concealing their true identities and desires behind masks, contenders and council members converge on Venice in pursuit of power and a new destiny.

Amidst a web of intrigues and gold, the fate of the republic will be decided. Some may ascend to become the supreme ruler of Venice, while others might face a poisoned chalice or exile.

Number of participants:

Option 1: 6–10 participants: 6 mandatory roles (including 1 male role; gender of others is not specified), 3 additional roles, and 1 role for the masquerade host (organizer).

Option 2: 10–16 participants: 10 mandatory roles (including 2 male roles; gender of others is not specified), 5 additional roles, and 1 role for the masquerade host (organizer).
